Choose a Learning Focus Area
Schools select one Learning Focus Area as their primary program focus. This choice will aid the design and delivery of lessons throughout their stay while also creating assessment opportunities.
With this chosen Learning Focus Area in mind, programs are then tailored specifically to the groups' curriculum levels and educational needs.
The Blackwood Special Schools Outdoor Education Centre learning programs have links across all Victorian Curriculum areas. However, our primary emphasis is on the following Victorian Curriculum areas and capabilties, as these target Blackwood Special Schools Outdoor Education Centre’s:
- Health and PE
- Personal and Social Capabilities
- English; Speaking and Listening
