Fire Lighting established at BSSOEC:- 2011
This is a great way to enhance the survival skills of your students, as they are challenged to light a fire using nothing but natural material within the fire pit and a flint in their hands.
Full instructions, demonstrations and supervision are given prior to student participation. This activity can help enhance your program by combining it with:-
- Bush Cooking, and
- Bush Hut Making
