Risk Register


Explore and discover the flora and fauna of the Wombat State Forest, Lerderderg State Park or Werribee Gorge State Park through a series of engaging environmental activities. These can be enjoyed at the Centre or while out and about discovering our stunning Forest environment.

Use all of your senses to truly discover, experience and appreciate the Wombat State Forest, Lerderderg State Park or Werribee Gorge State Park.  By immersing themselves in the natural environment students may gain a greater appreciation and understanding of our unique Planet and all its beauty.

While looking for scratching’s, scats, footprints and bones students may learn more about the fauna of the surrounding Forest. While challenged to experience and explore the colours, smells and sights students may even be encouraged to discover a greater understanding of the stunning flora through the sensation of touch.

Students may also investigate ways in which people can do more to help protect and preserve our natural environment.


Minimum time allocation: 45min
